In the 2000s, a group of renowned national and international architects was brought together to develop a new urban planning for Pedra Branca.

All the work, involving a lot of research, based on sustainable communities in other countries and looking to the future (today), resulted in what we call the Pedra Branca Master Plan.

With an exemplary concept, the project received national and international awards for urbanism, because of its relevance to the development of a city focused on people.

Growth

A little less than 10 years ago, with a University installed in the place and hundreds of resident families, Pedra Branca gained a new centrality: Passeio Pedra Branca. In 2013 Passeio Pedra Branca gave the first mixed-use developments to the neighborhood, residential buildings with ground-floor commercial spaces.

The birth of a new centrality marked the exponential growth of the place. The open-air shopping center has become an attraction for residents of neighboring cities to visit Passeio Pedra Branca on weekends, for leisure and to enjoy the gastronomic options, shops and local services.

In order to further foster this community, Pedra Branca Creative City promotes dozens of events throughout the year to enhance local commerce and offer residents and visitors fun, leisure and culture.

Entrepreneurial profile

Considered a Smart City, Pedra Branca uses the economy in an innovative way and has embraced one of its main features: entrepreneurship.

Also in 2013, Passeio Pedra Branca received the first fully commercial building on the site: Office Green. Local attractions accelerated the growth of the neighborhood, which a few years later, in 2016, received another fully commercial project: Atrium Offices. More business has emerged and Passeio Pedra Branca has become one of the most important ecosystems in the city.

Inserted within a community that offers housing, work, leisure and studies with minimum distances, the result of the developments could not have been anything other than a success.

Joining business opportunities and housing and routine facilities, many entrepreneurs began to invest commercially and residentially in the place. Today there are more than a thousand CNPJs (National Registry of Legal Entities) registered in the neighborhood and more than 8,000 workers, including startups, commerce, services and others.

Safe and attractive public spaces

Nowadays, places where people can have leisure safely in the open air all day are increasingly rare. To rekindle life on the streets, Pedra Branca invested in the construction of leisure spaces accessible to all audiences. The Pedra Branca Arena is one of those spaces, a project that contemplated the neighborhood with volleyball, foot volley, beach tennis courts and mountain bike tracks.

The main spot of the neighborhood is Praça do Espelho d’Água (Water Mirror Square), a large space frequented by families, with urban furniture and a playground that instigates children’s creativity.

In the same concept of building a city focused on people, the entire main road of Passeio Pedra Branca has wide sidewalks, reduced maximum speed for vehicles, always prioritizing pedestrians.

Condominium 100% sold in just 3 hours

In August 2019, Pedra Branca made history in the real estate market in Santa Catarina. Reserva da Pedra, considered the best residential lots condominium in the entire state, had 100% of the first phase lots sold in just 3 hours after the opening of negotiations. 394 were sold, a feat that earned the company the ADVB Top of Marketing and Sales National Award.

The launch of the development generated the search and interest of several investors and end consumers in the region, causing a face-to-face line to guarantee a lot in the condominium the day before the start of sales.

So much success has turned the eyes of other investors to other projects in Pedra Branca.

With the objective of building a city more and more diverse and focused on people, Pedra Branca Creative City continues to undertake in different models of projects.
