A delegation of ambassadors from 11 Arab countries in Brazil visited Pedra Branca last week with the objective of finding business opportunities. The initiative to take them to the district was by the Federação das Indústrias de Santa Catarina (FIESC), due to the experience gained within the district in the areas of technology, sustainability and civil construction.
The ambassadors stayed for three hours at Passeio Pedra Branca and, during this time, were received by the consultant Dilnei Bittencourt and the Business Manager Renato Ramos da Silva Neto. “They showed a lot of interest in the concept of our project and asked various questions about sustainability for the creative city, materials used in the work and the management of waste”, explained Renato.
The visit of the ambassadors, who have worked in Brasília for a little over 10 years, seeks to intensify the relationship with Brazil and boost new business and investment in the region. According to the president of FIESC, Glauco José Côrte, there are major opportunities for partnership with these countries in the sectors of food, metal working and civil construction. Over the last 10 years, FIESC has carried out 12 trade missions for the region.
